The pandemic was a catalyst demonstrating that entry barriers to business aviation, particularly via aircraft like the PC-12, are much lower than many imagined. Whilst there was initially a post-COVID surge, demand has remained consistently high. More significantly, we’re seeing structural changes: younger owners increasingly open to membership and sharing models, growing demand for transparency and fixed pricing rather than quote-based charter, and emphasis on consistency and reliability without ownership commitment. Frequent flyers want the mobility of private aviation combined with cost-effective, eco-friendly solutions.

Transparency and predictability have become paramount. Clients want immediate, bookable pricing – not waiting for three to five broker quotes. They value consistency in aircraft type and service level rather than uncertainty about what they’ll receive. Access matters enormously: reaching exclusive coastal destinations, Alpine resorts, and private estates that jets cannot access. Younger HNW travellers particularly value sustainability credentials, digital booking capabilities, and integration with broader lifestyle services. They want ownership-quality experience without operational complexity.

The Mediterranean and Alpine regions remain exceptionally strong, particularly exclusive coastal destinations favoured by yachting clientele. We’re seeing sustained demand for accessing locations like La Môle, St. Tropez, Albenga, Marina di Campo, and winter destinations like Gstaad and Lausanne. The trend toward experiential travel and exclusive, intimate destinations – rather than major city airports – drives demand for our specific capabilities. Clients increasingly value accessing the “hidden” Europe: private strips at luxury estates, small resort airports, locations where discretion and exclusivity are inherent rather than manufactured.

We use Sustainable Aviation Fuel as mandated by law, with that percentage increasing annually. Pilatus part-owns Synhelion, which produces synthetic fuel using only carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen from the air with solar heat as a catalyst – the future of aviation fuel. Members can also offset their carbon footprint for each flight. Our efficiency advantage – one-eighth the fuel consumption of comparable jets – makes environmental responsibility achievable without compromising access or experience.

Our fleet of six aircraft with two on standby, combined with a Europe-wide partner network, provides flexibility for urgent requests. While similar lead times to larger jets are sometimes required for slots, permits, and passenger clearance, we accommodate shorter notice when logistically possible. Our operational desk’s integration with Hans Travel means complex itineraries involving ground transportation, accommodation, event access, and combined helicopter solutions are coordinated seamlessly through a single point of contact.
